However, we specialise in Pacific families and their traditional attire from specific islands. If you’re from Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Hawai’i, Niue, the Cook Islands, Fiji, or Aotearoa (NZ), we can assist you and your family in dressing in the traditional cultural outfits of your respective country.
We welcome families that wish to bring their own cultural outfits for a portrait, or your everyday clothing. That’s totally up to you – all we say is that whatever you choose to wear is going to be captured in a portrait and hanging on your wall in your house for some time.

We will discuss:

3. The Photo Session
All photo sessions are taken in our studio where the environment is calmer and has a controlled setting that allows for a relaxed space for family members to interact with each other. We will walk you through the process then:

help you change into the selected cultural outfits

guide you through various poses

take various poses of group, couples or individuals
On the day of your photoshoot, our photographer will guide you and your family through various poses and will encourage interaction between family members. We may also suggest individual, couple, or group shots, allowing for a variety of dynamics and memories to be captured.
In addition to posed shots, our photographer will also try to capture more candid moments between family members, such as laughing, playing, or simply enjoying each other’s company. These more relaxed moments can add a unique and personal touch to the portrait session, making the final product even more meaningful for you.
